Our active Social Committee with the support of the Board of Directors
plans a variety of fun and interesting activities for the neighborhood throughout the year.
These events are a great way to get to know your neighbors, and are why we’re known as such a friendly community.
There are activities for children of all ages, and adults, too. Events_SP14_sack_race

Halloween Party Planning

Hello neighbors! If you’ve been out shopping lately, I’m sure you’ve seen the stores filled with Halloween decor.
This is the Social Committee’s sign to already begin planning for our biggest event of the year… our Halloween Cul-de-sac Party.
It’s been a couple of years since the last one, so we are very excited to bring it back this year.

We have very limited Halloween decor items in storage from previous years, so we are basically starting from scratch.
In order to make our Cul-de-sac Party as festive as possible, we are in need of Halloween outdoor decorations/items.
If you, or someone you know, has any unwanted Halloween decor that you, or they, would like to donate (or sell at a low cost)
to our community, please email the social committee at cantamarsocialcommittee@gmail.com.
It could be anything like Halloween inflatables, Halloween statues, cauldrons, grave stones, pumpkins, etc.

We are also in need of an MC that night.
Someone who can provide speakers and a mic, and be in charge of the music list and costume contest(s).
Open to recommendations or volunteers.

Thank you!

Summer Social Event
at Maxwell’s Another Success

Cantamar group at Maxwell's

On Saturday, July 30th, Cantamar neighbors met up at Maxwell’s on South Dixie Highway.

The Cantamar at Maxwells event was SUPER fun, and we had a great turn out.
The homeowners enjoyed the pizza from this local venue while they connected with their neighbors.

Everyone was very excited to attend, and they can’t wait for the next event.

We raffled two Cantamar custom-made hats.
If anyone is interested in purchasing one, they can do so with the hat store on instagram @nogginz.hats

Community Garage Sale a Great Success

The community-wide garage sale was a great success; we had a total of 11 homes that participated.

The Social Committee advertised the event within local social media, with a post to save the date a week prior to the event
and an updated post on Friday 7/15 including the map, showing each home participating.

We also placed signs on Friday afternoon all along the entry points to the neighborhood and the surrounding areas,
a printout of the garage sale map was available at our park and a QR code was also created for digital access to the map.

We hope the sellers had a great success, and we would love to have any feedback sent to cantamarsocialcommittee@gmail.com

Thanks to all who participated, either as sellers or buyers!

Happy Independence Day!

July 4th flag

Your Cantamar Board of Directors, Committees, and Lynx Property Services wish all our residents a Safe and Happy Fourth!

Many thanks to the Social Committee for placing the flags around the neighborhood.
The flags will remain through the end of the month when they will be collected by the Committee.

Easter Egg Hunt & Photos with the Easter Bunny
